Quest'anno esco spesso, praticamente tutti i weekend, vado insieme a mio zio a vedere le partite al pub sotto casa.
Nel corso degli anni, si è dimezzato, ha cambiato nome e gestione più volte, passando da maxi pub omaggiante a Sylvester Stallone, a pub, a bar/pub 24/7, finendo per diventare un Associazione culturale - Roma club.
Negli ultimi anni la Roma ha mostrato un buon gioco, nonostante i suoi titolari non fossero sempre dei campioni di caratura internazionale, ma si è sempre distinta per un gran cuore.
Adesso, dopo Zeman, è arrivato Capello, con lui sono arrivati grandi campioni, e quest'anno sembra essere la volta buona.
Guai a te se dici "trukke trukke", è vietato, qua la scaramanzia ha un suo peso, meglio non scherzare su una cosa così seria.
Io un po' lo sono, scaramantico, perché ok che esserlo è un po' da sciocchi, ma non esserlo porta male.
C'è odore di patatine fritte surgelate in olio riutilizzato, per chiedere una coca cola o una birra c'è un'attesa di 20 minuti.
Mio zio fa la fila, scherza col proprietario, mi arriva la coca cola; so che a forza di urlare se ne andrà via la voce, e che le patatine scotteranno, quindi me la devo sorseggiare e far durare almeno per tutta la durata della partita, un sorso alla volta.
Mio zio me ne prenderà comunque un'altra, ma non si sa mai.
Ogni volta, a fine primo tempo, un altro dei clienti fissi del pub racconta a mio zio una differente barzelletta sulla Lazio; fa sempre ridere, anche quando ci va giù pesante.
Nel pub, le luci sono rosse e sfocate come quelle di una vecchia pubblicità, mi trasmettevano tanto calore quanto me ne bastava quando sarei dovuto uscire nel freddo delle serate invernali.
Sono anche un po' miope, ma ancora non me ne rendo conto, e nella sfocatura imperfetta dei miei occhi, ogni azione è vaga come un ricordo.

This year I often go out, almost every weekend, I go with my uncle to watch the soccer games at the pub downstairs.
Over the years, it has halved, changed its name and management several times, passing from a big pub that tributes Sylvester Stallone, to a pub, a bar/pub 24/7, ending up becoming a cultural association - Roma club.
In recent years, Rome has shown a good game, although its players were not always international champions, but it has always stood out for a great heart.
Now, after Zeman, Capello has arrived, great champions have arrived with him, and this year seems to be the right time.
Woe to you if you say "trukke trukke", it's forbidden, here the superstition has its weight, better not to joke about something so serious.
I am a bit superstitious, because it's okay to be a little foolish, but not to be foolish.
It smells like frozen fries in reused oil, to ask for a coke or a beer there is a wait of 20 minutes.
My uncle queues up, jokes with the owner, I get coke; I know that by dint of screaming the voice will go away, and that the fries will burn my throat, so I have to sip it and make it last at least for the duration of the game, one sip at a time.
My uncle will still take me another, but who never knows.
Each time, at the end of the first half, another of the regular customers of the pub tells my uncle a different joke about Lazio; it always makes us laugh, even when he go down heavy.
In the pub, the lights are red and blurry like those of an old ad, they transmitted as much warmth as I needed when I had to go out in the cold of winter evenings' streets.
I'm also a little myopic, but I still don't realize it, and in the imperfect blur of my eyes, every action is as vague as a memory.
